Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-05-20

Plain-English summary. Sh-Epic builds self-hosted software. The website you're reading exists to describe that software. We don't sell ads, we don't run user-tracking analytics, and we don't sell or share personal data. The only personal data we receive is what you voluntarily send us — email when you contact us, or sign-up details when you request beta access.

1. Who we are

Sh-Epic, LLC ("Sh-Epic", "we", "us") publishes the website at sh-epic.com and the software products described on it (Sentinel Radar and Sentinel Vault). Contact us at support@sh-epic.com for privacy questions.

2. Data we collect on this website

We do not use third-party analytics on this site (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag). We do not set advertising cookies. We use functional cookies only where strictly necessary (for example, a future logged-in account area).

3. Data Sentinel Radar collects (telemetry)

Each Sentinel Radar install can send anonymous heartbeats to Sh-Epic so we know roughly how many installs are running, what version they're on, and how many devices they're monitoring. The full payload is documented in the product's SECURITY.md file. No PII is sent: no device names, no monitored network topology, no operator identity. Operators can opt out by setting TELEMETRY_ENABLED=false in the install's .env.

4. How we use the data

5. Who we share it with

Nobody. We don't sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Service providers we use to operate the site (e.g. our CDN provider, our email host) process data on our behalf and only to deliver their service.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time, by emailing support@sh-epic.com, to:

Where applicable, you have the rights granted by GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California). We apply the most protective standard globally rather than asking where you live.

7. Children

This site and these products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the Effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the site or email registered contacts.
